In light of the new decree to deregulate the Telecom sector in UAE and end monopoly of telecom services a new GSM operator was introduced (under the brand ‘du’) and a tender was issued to build the GSM network of the second operator. IGB was entrusted, by one of the participating system integrators, with the task of auditing the ongoing acquisition process and preparing a concise feasibility study. Later IGB participated in the review of the tender documents and provided recommendations for next steps. |

Short Description |
Modern Armies are extensively introducing Combat Training Centres (CTCs) into their training programs. CTC systems provide realistic, tough, hands-on training to the Armed Forces. Through the use of high-tech equipment, realistic Opposing Forces, professional Observer/Controller teams, and intense, realistic scenarios, training units discover their strengths and weaknesses as they can no where else in the world except in real combat.
IGB prepared the part of the bid related to facilities needed to support the CTC system. This included site surveys and costs estimation. IGB also provided local support and coordination with the project's owner. |

The scope of this project is to establish a technical and regulatory policy framework based on international best practice and benchmark to regulate granting the RoW. |
